In Another Life

You’re more than your current job title.

You’re all the working lives you’ve ever lived.

Explore · Bring Forward · Reimagine

Across a working life, we gather far more than roles and responsibilities.

Places. People. Ways of thinking. Things we became unexpectedly good at. Work that absorbed us. Interests that kept resurfacing. Moments when we felt energised, purposeful, inventive or completely in flow.

Some of it travels easily into what we do now. Some gets left behind — or simply slips out of view.

In Another Life is a creative narrative workshop for looking again at that rich store of experience: making fresh connections across your working lives and noticing what you want to bring alive in your next working steps.

Not to go backwards. Not to invent a different you.

To see more of what you already have — and bring it alive.

The workshop experience

A different way into your working story

Who am I now, in this space?

It can be hard to answer when the current job title has become the dominant version of the story.

In Another Life approaches the question as an excavation. Not digging deep for the sake of it, but uncovering what is already there: experiences, capabilities, interests, energies and ways of being that may have become buried, disconnected or simply forgotten.

Through photographs, objects, conversation and short bursts of writing, participants move across the working lives they’ve lived rather than following a neat career chronology.

The aim is not to find one answer to who you are. It is to have more of yourself available for the work you do now and the working steps you take next.

Her approach is spacious but lively: less about producing the right answer and more about creating the conditions for something new to be seen.

In Another Life Journal — The Working Lives Edit

Make your working lives work for you.

Your working life holds more than your current job title can show.

The journal travels with you through the working lives you’ve lived — capturing the experiences, strengths, interests, moments of energy and unexpected connections that surface along the way.

Nothing needs to arrive as a finished insight. Follow what has energy. Notice what repeats. Re-see what an earlier experience might mean from where you stand now.

In Another Life Journal becomes a record of what you’ve unearthed — and what you want to bring alive in your next working steps.

Community Workshops

Away from the workplace, In Another Life opens out into all the lives we’ve ever lived.

Using photographs, objects, conversation and short bursts of writing, community and creative groups explore the places, people, interests, identities and chapters that have shaped them — and the stories that still have energy now.

No writing experience is needed. There is no single story to uncover and no pressure to arrive at an answer.
